Started as a newsletter. Grew into the AI hub we couldn't find.
Golvra started in 2024 as a Friday newsletter for a small group of friends who were drowning in AI hype. Everyone we knew was either dismissing AI outright or cheerleading nonsense. Nobody was doing the thing we actually needed โ quietly testing tools on real workflows and reporting back honestly.
So we built it ourselves. First a newsletter. Then a directory. Then reviews, guides, comparisons and case studies. Two years later, over 120,000 people read Golvra every month โ from complete beginners running their first prompt, to engineers shipping production RAG systems, to founders building AI-first companies.
We're still independent. Still opinionated. Still testing every tool on real work before we publish a verdict.
